Does anyone know how to edit a drawing on a pc?

So im getting back into drawing and i am pushing myself to go over my drawings in pen ugg scares me lol i am interested in editing them on the computer and i was told i had to go over my drawings in pen then scan them so they show up, SOOOOO thats what im doing lol. If any of you know how to color your drawings on your pc and have how to tips please feel free to message me lol im trying to learn how without having to go to school....... bleh lol
